We have snow lying on the ground, still waiting for more!

The middle of this month brought fun in the form of snowboarding at Winterplace, near Beckley, WV. Scott, Kristy, and Lucas came up for the weekend. They brought Amanda and Skeeter, from south Georgia. It was their first time seeing snow! Can you imagine?! 20 or 21 Years old and never been hit with a snowball! We all had a great weekend.

Snow, snow, more snow!

It is cold in these mountains! We had a big snow storm (18") the weekend before Christmas. Last week it snowed everyday. It snowed last night and, the temperature has not been above 20 degrees for over a week! The fire is burning, we have food, and Mike and I are staying in!
